YES! Just be sure to bring your wellies, raincoat and umbrellas! Also, keep in mind that the crafts marquee is under cover and there is a second seated marquee for eating in under cover.
The pumpkin patch is within a farm setting so ground conditions will depend heavily on the weather. If there has been abundant rainfall then conditions will be muddy and potentially slippery. If the weather is dry then ground conditions may still be bumpy. While those using wheelchairs and buggies are wholeheartedly welcomed at the patch, we would ask that users be aware that conditions on the day are wholly dependent upon the weather.
We have toilets and hand washing facilities on site.
Most of the pumpkin patch is outside in the open air. We have two marquees, one is the craft marquee which houses the craft stalls, balloons and pumpkin carving, the other marquee has seating for refreshments. Particularly designed with the October weather in mind, (which can be a little unpredictable).
Yes, there are hot foods and drinks, Hog Roast, Pizzeria, vegan/veggie options and more!
Wellies really are the best option, particularly if the weather has been wet in previous weeks. Remember that the pumpkin patch is a farm setting.
As long as they are not bruised in any way, pumpkins will keep for two months or more if they are stored in a cool dry place, for example a garage or outside shed. so if you’re planning to visit on our opening day then they should still be good for 31st October…
Sold at PYO Pumpkin stations, we have a huge new selection this year of carving kits and pumpkin accessories!
We always have enough for the entire month of opening! There are thousands of pumpkins planted so nobody will miss out. We want our last visitor to have the same choice as the first!!
None of the gourds are poisonous, they are all part of the pumpkin/squash family. Some are not recommended to be eaten as they are purely for decorative use and would taste nasty. It is not recommended as an un-supervised play toy with a small child as like anything, a child could choke if they were chewing on them.
No, we're strictly a no smoking site, anyone found smoking on site will be asked to leave.
